What the Third Round Final cutoff tells you
The third round final cutoff is KEA's confirmed read of where each college, branch and category closed in the third (final) round of allotment. The closing rank is the rank of the last student allotted that seat once the round was finalised — the firmest signal of demand across the 2025 cycle. Cutoffs move year to year, so treat 2025 as a strong reference for shaping your 2026 option list rather than a fixed line.
Four ways to use this tool
The Rank Predictor lists every college and branch your rank reached, sorted safest first, and adds a ±25% borderline band so you can also see options just out of reach that may open up in a later round. Branch Compare fixes one branch and one category and ranks every college that offers it, so you can see the pecking order. College Profile shows one college’s full grid — every branch against all 24 categories. The Cutoff Explorer reads a single college + branch across all 24 categories (General Merit and categories 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, SC and ST, each in General, Rural and Kannada variants).
Read your own category, not just General Merit
Reserved-category cutoffs usually close at a higher rank number than GM for the same college and branch, so always select your exact category. In the Explorer and College Profile, a blank cell means that category had no second-round cutoff for that branch — often because no seat was allotted there in this round.
Turning 2025 data into a 2026 option order
Put the choices you genuinely want most at the top of your KEA option list. Then balance the rest using your results: a few ambitious options (closing rank a little tighter than your rank — the upper half of the ±25% band), several safe ones (around your rank), and backups (well below). Selections from any tab collect in the Option List at the bottom, which you can reorder and print. Confirm every figure against the official KEA list before you submit.
