Our purpose
OptionEntry.com is an independent, education-focused information website created to help Karnataka students and parents navigate the most decisive stage of UGCET admissions — option entry to seat allotment. Choosing the right colleges and courses, in the right order, often matters as much as the rank itself, and that is exactly where we focus.
We collect and organise the actual closing (cutoff) ranks from past years and rounds — Round 1, Round 2, the extended/mop-up rounds and casual vacancy rounds — and present them in a way that helps you understand where your rank realistically stands and how to build a balanced option list.
What we do
- Explain the workflow — a clear, step-by-step path from your rank and category to your final seat.
- Organise cutoff data — past closing ranks by college, course and category, so you can plan with evidence rather than guesswork.
- Help you prioritise — guidance on ordering your option list with a healthy mix of ambitious, safe and backup choices.
What we are not
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) or the Government of Karnataka. We do not accept applications, fees or documents, and we do not conduct the examination, ranking or seat allotment. All official actions must be completed on the official KEA portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
